Commercial Exterior Painting
Part of Commercial Painting.
How the work runs
Step 01
Survey access first
Scaffold, boom, or rope access is decided before anything else, because it sets both the cost and the sequence. Method statements and RAMS go to your property manager with the quote.
Step 02
Assess the substrate
Render, brick, cladding, and steel each fail differently. We identify what is actually failing, and whether it is a coating problem or a water problem, before specifying anything.
Step 03
Clean and repair
Washed down, loose material removed back to a sound edge, corroded steel taken back and treated, and failed sealant cut out and replaced.
Step 04
Prime and coat to spec
Manufacturer-specified systems applied within their stated temperature and humidity range, with wet-film thickness checked as we go rather than assumed.
We will move a start date rather than coat a damp substrate or paint outside the product's stated range. That call costs a week and saves a repaint.
